Author's Notes: Pre-series fic. I only recently got into Young Avengers and my brain wouldn't let me write anything else unless I wrote this first. And since I want to write other things eventually, I thought it in my best interests to listen. Thanks to ozma_katiebell and butterfly_kate for advice and hand-holding, despite being unfamiliar with the source material. All mistakes are mine, not theirs. Obviously.
